Close out the 2025/26 jazz club season with us! Apollo Suns is a powerhouse 7-piece collective from Winnipeg that blends jazz, rock and psychedelic grooves into an exhilarating live experience. No matter the venue, their music never fails to get the crowd moving. Apollo Suns have earned acclaim with three EPs and a full-length album, and have been twice awarded “Instrumental Artist of the Year” at the Western Canadian Music Awards. The band’s horn section drives bright, brassy melodies over thick bass lines and polyrhythmic drum grooves. Apollo Suns includes founder Ed Durocher (guitar), Tim Iskierski (drums), Aiirin Lofstrand (bass), Jordie Oulette (trumpet), Benjamin James Hill (trombone), Alex Maher (Alto Sax and pedals), and Anato Rennie (keyboard/synths). Come enjoy the raw energy of Apollo Suns, with their rich instrumental journeys that feel both cinematic and spontaneous. But don’t expect to sit still.
