The new album brings the music of Huey Lewis & The News back to its roots, stripping away the production’s polish and rebuilding it as greasy soul-jazz.

Saxophonist, record producer, and Cellar Music founder Cory Weeds‘ warm sound and deep connection to the jazz tradition have made him one of Canada’s most active jazz artists. A prolific bandleader with more than 20 records to his name, Weeds has performed and recorded with Joey DeFrancesco, Jeff Hamilton, Harold Mabern, Brad Turner, and Terell Stafford, to name a few. His recordings have earned international critical acclaim and multiple #1 positions on the JazzWeek charts.
