Dylan Hayes Trio

November 1, 2025

The Dylan Hayes Trio is a dynamic ensemble rooted in modern jazz, shaped by years of collaboration and a shared spirit of exploration. Featuring pianist and composer Dylan Hayes, bassist Stanley Ruvinov, and drummer Xavier Lecouturier, the trio has toured extensively throughout Europe, the West Coast, and Cuba, performing original music that blends harmonic depth with rhythmic nuance and spontaneity.

In 2024, the trio recorded their debut album, which is currently unreleased and slated for release soon. That same year, they traveled to Spain to record with Vela The Band, a genre-blending pop/neo-soul project that showcases the trio’s versatility beyond the jazz idiom.

In 2023, the group made media appearances on both KNKX Public Radio and Fox 13 Seattle, bringing their sound to a wider regional audience. Most recently, in early 2025, they performed at the Havana International Jazz Plaza Festival, representing a rising generation of forward-thinking jazz artists on the global stage.

Stanley Ruvinov is currently attending The Juilliard School, while Dylan Hayes and Xavier Lecouturier are both graduates of Cornish College of the Arts. Dylan and Xavier are core members of the award-winning collective Meridian Odyssey, whose album Earthshine was named NW Recording of the Year in the 2022 Earshot Golden Ear Awards. Dylan’s debut album Songs for Rooms and People was listed among The Seattle Times’ Top 10 Jazz Albums of 2020.

Together, the Dylan Hayes Trio presents a sound that is deeply rooted yet forward-looking—continuously evolving as they build on their shared musical language and engage audiences across borders.
