Karin Plato Quartet

April 25, 2026

It has been over a decade since vocalist Karin Plato last graced the Vernon Jazz Club stage, and frankly, that’s too long! Karin is a Juno-nominated artist known for her expressive but “beautifully understated” vocals; “she brings fresh readings of old standards and crafts her own intricate tunes with a delivery that sounds effortless.”(Voices in Jazz – CKUA Radio). Karin’s repertoire spans deeply personal originals and reimagined standards. Critics praise her “confident, tuneful phrasing and hip articulation” that weaves “a musical spell” (Edmonton Journal). For this performance, Karin will be joined by Josh Roberts on guitar, Wynston Minckler on bass, and James Danderfer on clarinet/bass clarinet.

Tickets are now available online for this event.
