Melody Diachun

JUNO and National Jazz Awards nominee Melody Diachun and her acoustic jazz quintet present 𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙄 𝘽𝙚 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙠? 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙖.

𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮 was an American singer, actor, and entertainer, and one of the most influential musical artists of the twentieth century. Straddling jazz and popular music of his day, Sinatra has been called “the greatest interpreter of American popular song.” He sold more than 150 million records worldwide and his quintessential voice continues to move listeners everywhere.

The Vernon Jazz Club audience will be treated to a stellar performance by this talented group with tasteful arrangements of beloved Sinatra songs including a holiday classic or two.

Joining Melody will be David Restivo on piano, Mike Rud on guitar, Doug Stephenson on bass and Tony Ferraro on drums.

“Diachun’s controlled, sometimes breathy, centered sound is a perfect foil for the interplay between the other musicians…and it all adds up to a tight, cohesive whole” (Cathy Riches, WholeNote Magazine).
