“E to the Power of Three – Edith, Ella and Etta

Local songstress Judy Rose most recently delighted Okanagan symphony audiences last March with a tribute to her lifelong idol Edith Piaf. She is delighted to reprise that repertoire and add even more nuance and layers in “E to the Power of Three” with songs of Edith, Ella and Etta with the Killer B’s to celebrate Valentine’s.

The lovingly assembled Killer Beez include the Valley’s finest musicians: the inimitable Neville Bowman on keys, the gifted Stefan Bienz on bass, the master Loni Moger on guitar and the one and only Scott Gamble on drums.

These masters of their craft will provide the nectar in Judy’s lush musical garden set to bloom with the melodies of Edith Piaf, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James, sharing their ballads, jazzy vibes and passionate blues.

These three iconic songbirds may have had their unique genres, but all sang of love, loss and longing, tugging at the heartstrings of their listeners and igniting their souls.
