The Dan Brubeck Trio

The Vernon Jazz Club is excited to announce its premier show on September 10th , featuring none other than the Dan Brubeck Trio. Dan Brubeck, the son of legendary jazz pianist, Dave Brubeck, has made a name for himself with his original drumming style, and distinctive solos. These skills have earned him the respect and praise of critics worldwide.

Accompanying Dan will be two highly regarded Vancouver-based musicians: Miles Black on piano and Miles Hill on bass. The audience will be captivated by this trio’s talent and creativity as they play music from the Dave Brubeck songbook, as well as some original compositions.

Dan Brubeck’s accomplishments in the music industry are numerous. He was featured on nearly a dozen albums with his father, and toured widely with the Dave Brubeck Quartet, including many appearances with the world’s leading orchestras. He has toured internationally and recorded several of his own albums. Dan’s drumming style is both mesmerizing and unparalleled, and his distinctive drum solos have received standing ovations all over the world! In fact he has earned the reputation as one of the most talented and creative drummers in jazz!
